During
dry season at Kagera sugar LTD. electric bills increases tremendously which
increases production cost. The reason for such phenomenon is the increase in
the water requirement for the irrigation of the sugarcane plantation such that
all pumps are being run at the same time. These pumps are inductive loads.
hence drawing more inductive current hence exceeding maximum demand of power
The main objectives of the project is to design a solar powered water pumping system for irrigation system at Kagera sugar plantation
